    “Sorry.” He said when he remembered to speak, “Did I disturb you?” He asked, again taking a look over Bernard's more disheveled appearance. It was pretty unfair that Bernard looked cute even like this. Still,he couldn't shake the feeling he had that something was up. 

    “No.” Bernard shook his head, giving Kon a warm smile that made his brain almost melt. “What's up? I think Tim's on patrol-”

    “I can't just come see you?”

    Kon shows up at Bernard's on a whim,only to realize something is wrong.

    “Okay.” Clark shut his eyes, seeming to count to five, before they snapped open. “Kon, do you understand what's happening to you?”
    He approached Kon’s bed but did not sit down. Kon let out a whine that perfectly conveyed his distress.
    “Of course not. I should have explained things sooner.” Clark pinched his nose and then forced himself to breathe and relax.
    “I know you're scared but what you're going through is a perfectly normal part of Kryptonian puberty.”
    Puberty. Puberty. Puberty?!
    “Puberty?!” That knocked the words right out of him and Clark chuckled.

    Or - Kon hits puberty! It's a little embarrassing and scary. Especially since Kon is apparently something called an 'omega'?!

    The part of Kon’s mind that is wondering what to do is immediately overshadowed by how cute the kid looks. Something deep down inside him rears its head at the sight of Jon looking sad in front of him, messy hair and big, blue eyes, and coos. It wants to snatch Jon up in its arms, hold him tight, and never let him go. He wants to give the kid anything he wants, burn the world down for him if he asks, and, well, he should probably push those intense types of feelings down into a little box and not look at them too closely, because that’s probably not normal and he needs to not go psycho killer when he’s trying to make nice with Clark’s his family.

    OR, Kon and Jon's brotherly bonding and all the feelings that come with it, including weird alien instincts.

    Tim pulled away from the kiss to catch his breath, still panting from the fight, but feeling his cheeks darken from all the excitement. He smiled and released his grip of Kon’s curls to gently comb his fingers through his hair and feel Kon melt, almost going limp under his touch. He was so easy to melt into a small little puddle, just the right amount of kisses and pets and he’d be pliant and easy for Tim to handle.

    But Tim wondered how easily he could rile him up.

    “What the hell is wrong with you?” Jon suddenly spits out—surprised at his own words and actions—briefly smacking Damian’s shoulder with enough force to have him angle towards Jon, but not near enough to actually hurt. Damian winced, anyways, and Jon regrets the action. The guilt is overruled by the intense emotions that make Jon’s stomach flip with anxiety and squeeze his heart.

    Nightwing stares in shock. Batman looks shocked, staring in silence. Damian fully turns his head to glare at Jon, lips pulled back in a confused sneer at the sudden interruption.

    Or, Jon’s already having a bad day when he has to go save Damian from a reckless decision. Already emotionally unstable, he leads with his heart, because Kon did say something about trusting his gut, anyway.
