Summary
Suddenly, something scaly gags Akira, stopping him mid-sentence. He tries to struggle but two hands restrain him from moving. He can feel long claws threatening to pierce his skin.
His eyes widen as he sees a long huge scaly tail the tip forces its way into his mouth, gagging Akira. A warm and strong body is suddenly against his back. He fights a little more, bites the tail but it doesn't seem to work, as he hears a chuckle near his ear at his attempts to escape.
Akira shudders as he feels a long raspy tongue licking his exposed neck. The creature tilts his head for better access, humming. Akira's breath accelerates, panicking. Where is he? What is he going to do? No one told him there was some… snake here enough big to choke him. He tries to struggle more, but the force only tightens around his limbs. Akira knows it'll leave marks.
"You'll do nicely."

Goro looks from the thermometer to Ren, then back to the thermometer.“It says 39°C,” he announces.
“No way…” Ren groans into a pillow. He’s still laying in bed, half turned on his stomach with the sheet tangled around his legs.
Goro grabs his phone from its charging spot on the nightstand and starts typing a quick email.
“What are you doing…” Ren mumbles. Goro looks up to see his husband peeking at him through a small opening between the pillow and his wild curls.
“...Notifying my colleagues that I will be working from home today,” Goro answers, his eyes flicking back to his phone screen before his heart rate gets too affected by Ren’s cute antics. He sends the message and sets the phone back on the nightstand.

Akechi raised a perfectly arched eyebrow.
“You seriously think any of them actually want me there?”
“Well…” she couldn’t meet his gaze once more, choosing to watch her shoe repeatedly scuff the floor. The pink hue was back, and Akechi watched with wonder at how it filled her cheeks. Before he could reply with a no doubt sardonic remark, she finished her sentence.
“I always want you there.”
-Akechi was cold, aloof, distant - gone was the charming facade of the Detective Prince. Out of necessity, he would work alongside the Phantom Thieves once more, and then return to his reality. No need to create fake friendships, no need for any meaningless complications, just get the job done. Easy, right? Of course not.
An impromptu invitation to his usual jazz club throws Akechi’s neat little plan into question, all because of her. Her stubbornness, her sentimentality, her easy going smile. She was constantly irritatingly, on his mind. If only he could understand why.
