I'm taking this prompt and it's going to be messy. And hopefully funny. But also kind of steamy? And it's very read at your own risk. I will aim to keep my characters as in character as possible, but this is not your grandpappy's fan fic. Super excited about this particular prompt because I think its actually hilarious. I also thought it would be funny to write.

Having never known and never meeting the elusive Belivet in person, having seen interviews and reading excerpts from magazines and journals, Carol believes this young woman is arrogant, perhaps a bit of a narcissist, and unduly guarded. Belivet suffers a little, but not much, and regains her footing after the disastrous critique, however, maintains that Ross is judgemental, archaic, and a coward.
Might it be possible that they’ve misjudged one another entirely and come to realize they share more in-common than they previously have thought?

“The reason Andy’s pissed is—” Hermione’s cheeks heat. “Well, I sorta kissed her sister yesterday.”
Pansy’s eyes go wide. “Are you—Don’t get me wrong, the woman’s stunning, I can’t possibly blame you. But I thought she’s in France?”
“Narcissa is, yes.”
Pansy raises her eyebrows in a silent question.
“She has more than the one, you know.”

Hermione's week hasn't been getting better—there's an irate Andromeda, stress at work, figuring out what to tell anyone about this mess with Bellatrix, and, well, figuring out what she feels about said mess. That's not even getting to what Bella might feel.
And, honestly, the oncoming holidays are hardly helping.

“Gin, I swear to god, I’m coming,” Hermione chirped, throwing her bag over the shoulder of her t-shirt.
“Well gods, ‘Mione, I’ve been standing outside the pub for ten minutes already. Luna and Nev are gonna be late, something about her earring missing a radish.”
Hermione snatched up her keys and looked around the flat one last time. Turning towards the exit, she furrowed her brow and threw her front door open distractedly. “What do you mean she’s missing a radish—”
She screeched to a halt and fumbled the phone, barely cradling it against her ear as she almost ran into someone standing on the small landing. She managed to save herself and the person in question from the impending collision, but only just. Straightening herself, Hermione glanced up only to become absolutely entranced by the clearest set of azure colored eyes she’d ever seen.
The woman had turned abruptly upon Hermione’s exit and she gazed at the flustered brunette with barely concealed amusement. Her eyes glittered under the landing’s dim lamplight and Hermione stood momentarily stunned by the vision in front of her.
Because if Andy and Bella were the night sky, then Narcissa Black was pure moonlight.
