Summary
Ryland Grace was the type of student who didn't have to put in too much effort to succeed. It worked for him, gave room for his own personal time while being able to still preform to other's academic standards. His Engineering professor, however, seems rather displeased with Ryland's work ethic. How many office hour sessions will it take to correct his student's lack of dedication to his work? Or rather, how many licks will it take to get to the tootsie roll core of Ryland Grace?

Summary
As Court rushes over to his side, Ryland stares up at him without comprehension, eyes wide and bloodshot. "You're not Simon."
"Astute." Court kneels down next to him, feeling his forehead gently with his palm. "How're you feeling, bud?"
Ryland hums, as though thinking it over. Then, earnestly, "I'm trying to find the real world."
He hasn't got a fever. "The real world?"
"Yeah."
"And this… isn't that?"
Ryland makes another humming noise, but instead of responding reaches up into his mouth and rubs his fingers aggressively along his teeth, stretching his lips at the corners with a wet squelch.
He gives a distressed "Hnngh" and Court realizes with a jolt of sickening dread that his baby brother is high out of his mind.

Ryland Grace was a very strait-laced student.
4.0 GPA, colleges vying for him to attend at their campus, a bright future shining ahead of him. He just had to make sure to keep it up and graduate without a single dent, scratch or bad mark on his collegiate reputation. Sadly that all goes down the drain (kinda, somewhat, ok mostly) when he attends his first frat house party at the behest of his twin. Which was how Ryland went from strait-laced to just 'laced'. With what? He has no clue. But hey, if he got a boyfriend out of it then who's he to refuse?

“Dr. Grace? As in the Dr. Grace who studied the Arclight samples and named Astrophage?" Minoru felt as if he was going to explode from excitement, “He’s here? On this boat?!”
Ilyukhina laughed and Minoru didn’t even care that she was making fun of him. Even Dubois seemed a little taken aback by the enthusiasm. Shapiro though— her eyes were glowing.
“Yes he’s on the boat!”
“Do you think we’ll get to meet him?!”
“Who do you think is going to teach us how to handle Astrophage?” Dubois asked, like he thought they were both overreacting. Minoru felt like he was going to faint.
