Summary
John was reasonably excited to start high school again.
Wellston Private High, or more commonly referred to as Wellston High, is one of the most prestigious high schools in the country.
The school featured an intense and, frankly scary, academic presence, an in school dormitory, and a massive multi story campus with security and an infirmary. With a resume like that, John was reasonably optimistic that there would be a higher focus for learning rather than gearing toward the ability hierarchy.
All of that doesn't even factor in that the school was halfway across the country from his old one.
New life, new city, new….everything.
A fresh start to be whoever he wanted.
Then he meets a strange purple haired girl and his life spirals from there.

Seraphina had always been jealous of the casual exchange of contact between two friends.
She'd see it in the halls as she passed friend groups, she'd see it in the library when a couple would snuggle close while reading a book, and she'd see it in class during arm wrestles when the boys were messing around.
She'd see it everywhere around her, almost as if it was mocking her for not having any friends of her own.
