This is mostly just me figuring out how to write tbh. I've been wanting to write a quirkless AU, a vigilante AU, and a support course AU, but I'm not sure which ideas to use and which ones to save for later... idk just getting into the swing of things is hard for me, sooooo one shots are the way to go until I figure out what I'm doing :D

Of course Adolin knew that Kaladin used to be a slave. How could he not, with the brands on his forehead being a constant reminder? But storms, the man was downright regal in the way he carried himself. It was difficult to reconcile that past with the Kaladin he knew.
Funny how the truth always had a way of slapping you in the face when you least expected it.
Or: Adolin sees Kaladin shirtless for the first time during training. It doesn't go well.
