Summary
Lambert is used to not trusting people. It comes with the territory of being a Witcher. So when he gets stranded on the side of the road in a storm, he’s absolutely sure no one aside from his brothers will be willing to help him, and even they’ll probably take a while. To Lambert’s confusion, someone decides to prove him wrong – and it’s a fucking Cat, of all people.
But maybe, just maybe, he’s someone worth trusting.

Summary
Hit with a bad curse, Eskel knows he has to go back to Kaer Morhen for the winter. But being unable to stop himself from hearing the thoughts of those around him will surely make it painful to be around anyone else, even his fellow witchers. Especially Geralt. The last thing he needs is to be confronted with what his family—and his first, hopeless, unrequited love—truly think of him.
But, luckily or unluckily, absolutely nothing about breaking his curse goes as planned.

It should have been a simple contract - find out what was making the odd noises from inside the cavern near the waterfront, and let the fishermen know it was safe to use those waters again. Instead? Lambert was not prepared for this.
