The wizarding community mourns the untimely passing of Severus Tobias Snape, aged 16, a student of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Mr. Snape was reported missing late last week after venturing beyond the castle grounds after curfew.
The Headmaster expressed his condolences, describing the loss as “a tragic reminder of the perils that lie beyond the safety of the school.”
Funeral arrangements remain private.
