Summary
Alex and Jen Hartidge. Trainees at the Temple of Spinjitsu. After their father became gravely ill, they returned to their family to grieve. Their widowed mother unable to look after them, they were forced to steal to survive. Now, with a gang war brewing in the heart of Ninjago City, Sensei Wu has decided that it is time for them to complete their training. Will they fit in with the Ninja? Or are they forever cursed to be Street Rats in their eyes?
Fair warning: this story was co-written several years ago by me and my friend on wattpad, and has not been edited before being moved to ao3. I'm in the process of rewiting but it's slow going and by this point it's practically a different book so I decided to post the full original work as well.
