Lan Zhan swallowed and felt more out of his depth in the bedside manner department than he usually did. Which, truthfully, was saying something. He cast a glance to Dr. Wen who seemed to be hiding her amusement as she stepped closer to the patient.
“Dr. Lan is a first year intern, so I’m hoping you’ll be on your best behavior for him,” she warmed. He smirked and leaned towards her.
“Always.”
“Sure,” Dr. Wen said, still fond, “Dr. Lan, this is Wei Ying. He was my very first nuisance when I was an intern.”
