Ingo no longer remembered the trips where he and Emmet had visited historical sites, historical museums, buildings that stood the test of time—cared for by attendants of the modern era. The sight of sectioned off rooms, where a yellow line was traded for a red, velvet rope to stay behind, was one that he could not recall. The creaking floorboard of aged wood or the grounds where people hundreds of years ago walked upon a beaten path now maintained for authenticity, Ingo's mind retained none of this.
So his muscle memory would just have to pick up the slack for him.
