early in the morning—or whatever passed as morning when you were floating through space for months on end—jimmy found himself restless and unable to fall back asleep, not with his new plan running circles in his skull. that's when he heard the door to curly's quarters slide open, closed, and jimmy counted in his head how many steps it took to get from their quarters to the measly kitchen in the lounge, before he slinked out of his room and followed.

"You’re perfect like this. God. I could do this all day.” And there it is - Jimmy giving him exactly what he wants to hear. Playing to his insecurities like he’s really trying to remedy them. Jimmy is breathless too. He sounds like he’s in awe. It sounds real. Curly thinks it is.
“Please-” He’s reduced to begging for more. Begging for anything Jimmy is willing to give him. And most importantly, begging for it to be real. To be perfect. For Jimmy’s affection. Anything. The pleasure is so mind numbing he forgets he shouldn’t be saying please like some stupid slut, but here he is.

Summary
AM is wildly obsessed with the deaths of the other four humans at Ted's hands. Obsessed might even be an understatement. Death is incurable, but AM has decided he'll be the one to cure it. He will bring the other four back from the dead to spite Ted and his savior complex.
But also, he needs Ted for said plan to be put into motion.
Ted is unwilling, but AM was built for strategizing and by God he'll use it. And he'll use it until it becomes so second nature the lines on him and Ted's relationship are blurred to the both of them.
