Jackie felt her cheeks flush with heat as Nat leaned down to kiss her forehead. Her lips lingered for a moment, sending shivers down Jackie's spine. She couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed at the sudden intimacy, yet strangely relieved and comforted at the same time.
Nat pulled away, an unreadable expression on her face. Jackie looked up at her uncertainly, not sure what to make of this new development.
Nat brushes a strand of hair from Jackie's forehead, tucking it behind her ear. "Just get some rest," she murmured softly
