Katsuki had been having these lucid dreams, since the war ended, reaching out for Izuku in every single one of them. It could be a memory of the river or feeling death slowly taking over him and his only thoughts were if Izuku was safe. Maybe something different like being at Izuku’s wedding and the spouse wasn’t him, just a perfect someone who’s fit for Izuku. But he’s not.

Summary
It was sunny in early spring, peak cherry blossom season. The petals flowed in and out of the wind, filling the air with a sweet smell. The atmosphere had a certain feel to it like it was going to be a different day. A good day. Things are going to change in the cherry trees. It was perfect for a picture day.
Izuku wasn’t a really romantic guy, so when he finally admitted to having feelings for his childhood best friend it wasn’t going so well. Izuku’s self doubt always told him he didn’t deserve katsuki or that he didn’t love him back. (Which is a massive lie).

Summary
Then Katsuki put another note saying ‘call me when you wake up nerd’ and drew a small explosion on it. This time he put the note on Izuku's phone, so he knew what to do first! He took the wet rag and threw it in the laundry basket at the back of the room. He wiped Izuku's forehead with his sleeve and started to pack up the small mess he made.
Izuku still managed to look beautiful while being sick. His cheeks and face were flushed a rosy hue which only made him look cuter.‘I shouldn’t do this’ Katsuki kept repeating to himself but couldn’t contain his feelings. He leaned over the bed and kissed Izuku's forehead, then stood up and left.
He came back a few minutes after with a cup of hot tea with a bit of honey and lemon just how Izuku liked it. How did he know this? Childhood memories of eating cookies and tea in their huge pillow fort. Those play dates mostly turned into sleepovers!
