In the amazing "Cut to the Feeling" by Charlotte Stant, there is a throwaway line that Jackie gave birth to the baby Shane and Ilya are bringing home from the hospital. Combine that with the phone blowjob scene in Episode 6 (because if it had been anyone else on the phone, Shane would have gotten up and left the room instead of goading Ilya with his fake refusals), and this is what fell out of my id. (I have made no attempt to anchor this to canon in any way in terms of who is retired from hockey, etc.)
