Summary
As a filthy rich, socially privileged white person, Lena Luthor is used to getting what she wants. Most problems she can solve on her own, and if for some reason she can't think her way out of a sticky situation, throwing money at things usually does the trick.
This isn't something she's proud of, per se; Lena isn't too vapid to admit that she lives a very privileged life compared to most. Accordingly, she does her best to be as generous as possible to those in need.
Make no bones about it—Lena is also not a saint. At the end of the day, she goes to bed in Egyptian cotton and pays someone to drive her around in a Rolls Royce or Bentley Continental, depending on her mood. She is aware of her privilege. She is aware of her wealth. But most of all, she's aware of her power, and it is for this reason that Lena Luthor is a bottom.
