Martin traps them both in Jon's office after everyone but them has gone home.
"I'm sorry," Jon says immediately, Martin slamming his office door shut and locking it for good measure. "I should have told you, I know, but I knew you wouldn't —"
"— Wouldn't have wanted you to go, no," Martin finishes for him coldly. "You would have gone anyway, though, so you may as well have told me."
"I know."
