Behind an long-empty house sits a dead tree. Within this tree sits a treehouse long since abandoned to the jaws of time. Its floor is cracked, its ceiling caved in and the steps leading up to it have mostly been swallowed by the tree.
But etched within the dusty walls of this treehouse are stories, stories from other worlds running alongside this one, stories of the beasts lurking in the shadows and the spirits watching from the netherworld, of the evils of man's heart and the ultimate terror that lies beyond his scope of understanding.
For you see, there are thousands of worlds running alongside this one, countless versions of this single town and the people who once called it home. And compared to them, the final fate of this world's Springfield is a mercy.
Don't believe me? Then I dare you to scale the ancient tree, crawl inside and be still. Be still and listen as the wind whispers and the walls speak to you tales of every sort of terror imaginable.
