He's in Gotham, in a dimension that he's grown fond of, and trying to lay down roots so that he can survive comfortably. Unfortunately, he can't recall how to make friends. Also, he doesn't want anyone to know he's actually dead because what if something like the GIW happen here?
Regardless, if he wants to stay, he needs to have a support circle to help his obsessions from ripping his mind from him again, which means he needs to befriend people, which means he needs to figure out how to speak to the Bats of Gotham.
This would be easier if there wasn't a cult trying to bring in ghosts from the Infinite Realms to cause havoc and give Danny a bad name.

In his panic he got up from his chair but his vision was blurred. He quickly tried to hold on to the desk with one hand, the other being on his head, although he did so, he still ended up passing out. He tried to move his body away from the desk so as not to hurt himself but too late his left side hit the corner of the desk violently.
«It's definitely going to leave marks...» He thought before losing consciousness.

Ch 28, Identify reveal to Deruth
...Well, need not be said and all that. It's just my personal opinion.... [Sept 9, 2025]
"Kim Rok Soo Henituse" kill me now bro I can't take this weird mix American and British english? Why are they interchanging words that don't need to be interchanged? I understand it now:
I'm too nitpick-y.
But there is a genuine problem with their grammar and wording at some parts. The normal non-english speaking stuff, really. Past tense where there shouldn't be, mixed up adjectives and nouns, too many "s" and plurals when the word itself is already plural and doesn't need a modifier.
Nothing I haven't seen. But something about the way they do it, maybe? Maybe it's just my bad mood. But I really could write a short essay on this. But I really shouldn't- especially when I'm this close to throwing up.... My day just keeps feeling worse...
The plot is kinda crawling lazily. Also feels like there's way too much passing out in such a short period of time. At that point no one would let Cale out after the second time, much less the sixth time that ALSO PUT HIM INTO A COMA?? It feels silly and oddly disconnected. It's explained in the story why, but it doesn't satisfy me. It feels weird that he's just anemic and it's super severe, but no one seems too be... how do I say this?
It's like they don't care.
They say they do. They worry and yell. They get doctors for him right away. They tell him not to work himself. Then they float off.
They don't have a sense of weight! I get it now, yes- I finally got it! That is what is bothering me so much!
These characters have no weight behind their actions! Everything is "hand-wavey" explained, and there's no real consequences for their actions! Plus whenever Cale faints, he conveniently always wakes up right before the action begins. Plus while the concept for this plot is compelling, the way it's being executed feels off. Cale is acting like he's actually 18, even though he's in his 30s. He's doing things that are completely out of character for Kim Rok Soo to say. The author is just kinda following the novel's plot without even considering how they're interconnecting the characters.
They're reacting, and that's all they're doing. And it really frustrates me because it feels like nothing is "happening". Gears are turning but they still need a finger to spin them before they stop; Rather than simply turning neatly and without outside help.
Yeah that's about it. The puke feeling is coming back up again. What an end to a day.
...btw the story ain't bad tho, just about mediocre? Medium-tier, really. Above the bottom, at the middle. A personal rating would find it lower in the barrel, but like... This one really ain't bad. It's good to pass the time with

Summary
Amity Park is a rather odd town. It's filled with ghosts that attack regularly, and it's figured out how to protect itself without needing to call in anyone else for help. But when the unusual body of a young boy is found buried in the park with no real leads they make the decision to ask the Justice League for help. Meanwhile, Danny wishes they'd just let him rest in peace.
