Katsuki's dealing with it. He's got it covered, surely. It's not like life has decided to throw everything in his way to becoming the next number one hero or anything. He definitely doesn't need anyone to help him get through his pain.
But then there's him, and his stupid shitty hair trying to look closer, to get closer, and it's becoming harder to stand having to live through everything alone. Sometimes he just wants someone to actually care.
Sometimes he needs it.
So maybe, just maybe, this boy might be able to help him out of the darkness he's been descending into for years.
Maybe he doesn't have to fight her alone anymore.

He is in pain.
Has been in pain.
He's tired and has been tired.
He has been carrying this weight, a burden that he carries alone.
Never let anyone see the cracks, the weakness.
But.
He's in pain and tired. And now he feels like he's not alone anymore.
He doesn't want to rely on other people because there is nothing else that he hates more than to be a burden.
But he's also scared and cold, and he can't bring himself to spend another night outside.
So for once, just this one time.
He asks for help.Or, Bakugou Katsuki is sitting on a bench out in the cold after running away from his house. Because it has gone too far and he's tired of hiding.
Not that he'll be able to hide this anyway.
So he decides to call the one and only adult he's ever trusted and respected.

Across the old factory, where Nightwing plans to ambush a major weapons trade, is a bright new billboard. It must've been put up the night prior, because Dick would've definitely noticed the shining image of Bruce Wayne during his recon. His mother, appearing in an advertisement for Wayne Enterprises' latest makeup brand, wears slightly smudged lipstick and mascara that lines indecent eyes. A light blush paints his face, and highlighter shines atop the highest points of his cheekbones, making him seem as if he were tipsy. Bruce holds up a tube of the lip color used on him, and the company name is written in gold cursive against a pale pink background. It's a good ad, Dick would say, because it's very convincing. (If you buy from us, you'll look just as stunning as our CEO!)
That doesn't mean he likes it.
Or
Four times Bruce's pups protected him from unwanted advances, and the one time they didn't need to.
