They come into the station and meet the department's psychic, who is somehow simultaneously the goofiest and most observant guy either of them have ever met. Psychic powers or not, the absolute brains on their temporary ally coupled with his "normal" but absolutely bonkers case record makes for the Winchester's wildest case yet. And this includes their side-case of stopping the literal apocalypse.
