Summary
“You’re telling me you lost hours of time?” Logan barked, though it was a quiet bark, more or less a yap. Did not make him look any less like he was eleven seconds away from a century-defining hissy fit.
“Seconds, hours, it’s all the same. Time is relative, you know the deal. There’s no such thing as a free lunch. An object in motion will not stay in motion. Teamwork makes the dreamwork. Etcetera?”
And ohhh, nope. No, Logan didn’t like that at all. He had balled up fists locked and loaded, and he wasn’t even bothering to blink. Showoff.
“Let me get this straight: you lose fucking memories? Hours worth of memories? Why the fuck didn’t you tell me that? Jesus Christ."
Logan's trembling fingers–notably fucking trembling–went to his hair, stroking over the dark locks and pulling at the tangles that caught between them. His eyes were watery.
Fuck.
(Wade doesn't like to talk about the Bad Pain Days. Too bad Logan is a considerate sonofabitch and enlists Hank to make an extra-special painkiller to help.)

Summary
Arlo was watching him. “I heard that Boyd Crowder went up to Nobles Holler. That he was running from his old man. Makes me think.”
“That’ll be a first,” Raylan said. He should have anticipated the hand that slapped across his already bruised face.
Raylan spat on the floor. He thought about Winona, early in their relationship, asking him tell me about Harlan, what’s it like there, what do you do there, how did you live there. And Raylan had told her I didn’t live, not really, nor could I.
“And I also heard,” Arlo gritted out, “that Limehouse turned him away. And then my own son is back in town. Hell of a coincidence, ain’t it?”
“Hell of a coincidence,” Raylan said.
“Yes, ain’t it a pretty picture? The two of you in the hollers somewhere, hiding out like when you were kids? That your plan? Hiding and waiting, hoping we forget all about it? Think again, son.”
Raylan and Boyd reunite fifteen years after Raylan left Harlan.

Summary
"Adults aren’t supposed to tell kids to keep secrets."
It’s a good fucking lesson, really. An important one. Jamie feels kind of sick about it though.

(“Alright son, let’s just keep this a little secret between us men, yeah? No need to tell your mum about it. She wouldn’t understand.”)

Summary
At the 2011 All-Stars game, Scott Hunter notices Hollander and Rozanov, quietly babbling to each other in French and Russian. Scott can’t see the names on their screens as they text, but he suspects it’s one another. Every few moments, there is a kick to the shin from Hollander, a delighted laugh from Rozanov with every ping of their blackberries. He's never seen a friendship quite like this.
As his curiosity is piqued throughout the years, he quickly discovers that it's much, much more. Years later, Ilya Rozanov is going to be grateful for that.
