“Uh,” Graves says, which is as much of an answer as it is a non-answer.

Manipulative little…sowing doubt and guilt, trying to make my lies easier to spot.
But I’m a step ahead. I don’t mind playing this game. I curl my knees closer and lower my head to hide the ghost of a smirk twitching at the side of my mouth.
The truth won’t help her any more than a lie would.
Serra accidentally witnesses Morgan during an impulse kill. Complications ensue.
