After accidentally becoming the 'chosen' one, your life becomes a lot more complicated. You don't need this responsibility on top of your regular nine to five, but you don’t really have a choice, because this thing on your wrist isn’t coming off short of you gnawing your own hand off. And after running into so many alien mechs causing destruction/chaos out of mischief, boredom, or ignorance that just won’t stop or listen, Blue Cop reluctantly tells you that you can seal the troublemakers to make them have to listen and obey.
And it’s like the ultimate cheat code. Why wouldn't you seal and claim them all to ensure good behavior? So you're collecting aliens like Pokémon. The problem? While you think you're saving the world, you're actually amassing a ridiculously huge harem of husbands/consorts.

“No, I meant- Autobot or Decepticon? Do you ally with either of them? Or are you neutrals avoiding the war?”
“War?” The flier’s optics widened more and a weakly surprised noise came from behind them (him, probably, if going off of vocal inflection). “What war? When?”
Ratchet frowned. “The civil war we’ve been fighting for four thousand years. How are you on Earth and unaware of this?”
“Four thousand… impossible. Machina was destroyed one thousand years ago.”
“Machina? ...I am from Cybertron. Have you heard of such a planet?”
“No.” The flier cocked his helm. “...I think there has been a misunderstanding. You do not look like a Metal Cardbot.”
“I most certainly am not that.”

After a shoddy teleportation attempt, the Metal Cardbots find themselves scattered, cut off from their team, and stranded in unfamiliar places.
