Summary
George overhears Max calling him high maintenance over the phone and it stung more than he thought it would. So, naturally, he decides to be high maintenance - cue a shopping trip for silk shirts and skincare to show Max how much worse he could be.
The problem? Max doesn’t seem bothered. In fact, he’s thriving.
Or: the one where George tries to prove a point, and Max just keeps falling harder (aka Georgie gets spoiled silly).

Summary
“George is not my boyfriend,” Max responds automatically. Then, “he’s mad at me again.”
“What did you do?”
“Nothing. He’s always mad at me.”
No one bats an eye at them, not really. It’s an open secret around the paddock that they sometimes fuck when they’re not fighting and sometimes when they are fighting. It’s stress-relief, sex you don’t need to sign an NDA for. It works even if George causes him more stress than he relieves. At least he’s quiet with a dick in his mouth. Sometimes.

Summary
Max gets it, she’s so in love and committed and reformed. Fucking him was her rebellious phase and now that she’s changed her ways he’s not even worth looking at.
He doesn’t even care about that, George is one girl among millions, but there’s something so irritating about watching her pretend to be this great girlfriend as if Max didn’t have her biting her lips bloody in the same bed she and Alex sleep in every night just a few months ago.

Summary
“I’m George,” the guy – George – says, not offering a hand. “Nice weather out here, don’t know how you race like this.”
Max is busy staring at the pearly whites blinding him. There’s no way this guy hasn’t had work done. Lips like those, plump and pouty, would probably burst if Max bit on them. The paddock has become a cesspool of influencers and celebrities since Netflix came in with their cameras, but it still rubs Max the wrong way, how they prance around knowing nothing about racing and offering their inane opinions.
“It’s fine,” he dismisses, gripping the ball. “I’m good at what I do.”
“I’m sure you are,” George says, flashing another cookie-cutter smile. “Good luck on Sunday, then.”

Summary
"Let's go just me and you, liefje," Max whispers the endearment to the shell of George's ear. His face nuzzles against the halo of caramel strands, breathing the clean scent of the shampoo George uses. "Pretty please."
"I still don't know if I should." George confesses, wary and conflicted.
TL;DR: Max and George enamoured with each other, child Kimi pretending to be a shark and hating on broccoli, while Jenson and Nico give their best attempt at a heartfelt conversation.
