Bluey is turning 8, and there's going to be a huge celebration! Many of her family and friends will be in attendance, which means plenty of food, presents, and best of all--games! But what happens when the goal of a party--to have fun--becomes lost amongst desires to prove one's self or make someone proud, or worries that one isn't good enough? Children and adults alike face the same pressure to do well, and many will end up comparing themselves to others. Perhaps what is needed is a voice, a gentle reminder that we're all different, and that's okay. Maybe someday, we can learn to love each other as well as ourselves, and if we can do that, perhaps, we can stop comparing apples and oranges.
