The way a small touch at Avery’s side would make a shiver run up her spine, the way warm breath at the shell of her ear makes her grip in his hair tighten, the way Max only has to slide to his knees before she’s hooking a leg over his shoulder and letting him go down on her. It’s Couples Week on the Odyssey. Recently, it’s always been Couples Week on the Odyssey. Avery’s getting kind of bored of it. But there’s some sort of dance thing tomorrow that all the staff on the Odyssey are invited to attend, and Tristan asked her to go, so how could she say no?
And then came Max, not even an hour later, asking her about the same thing. And Avery knows it was wrong, and that it was kind of a shitty thing for her to do, but she loved both of them, and she needed both of them, and neither of them have the sense to realise that the three of them, it could work.
So now Avery’s going to have to juggle two dates, somehow manage to have them not find out the other is there, and figure out how she’s ever going to have the life she wants. The one where she loves both of them, and they both love her, and each other.
The possibility is slim. She isn’t optimistic.Or:
avery accidentally sets up dates with both max and tristan, finds out the father of her baby, and ody3 finally realize what they've wanted all along. in that order.
