"It's a cold night, detective. Wouldn't you be better off inside?" Stiles drawled as he dropped down to the precinct roof from a neighboring building.
Detective Christopher Argent tensed, but didn't turn around. He was stood facing out to the city, leaning against the hip-height walls of the rooftop.
"Solaris. I could say the same to you," The detective spoke gruffly.
He was Stiles' favourite cop, probably one of the only ones he actually liked. Chris wasn't corrupt like the others, he had a real sense of justice. He didn't necessarily approve entirely of what Stiles did at times, but he never said anything against it either.
"I have the power of the sun at my fingertips, I'm never cold if I don't have to be," he murmured, right behind Chris now. "How's Peter?"

“It wasn’t really that bad,” Ron said lowly to Harry as Hermione rifled through her compartment. Neville and Luna were talking louder to one another to drown out Hermione’s tyraid. “You know how Riddle is when he’s around a bunch of people. He made Hermione look barking mad, though, with how calm he was compared to her.”
Harry ducked his head to hide his smirk. He loved Hermione for everything that she was, but it didn’t mean she was any less amusing when she got riled up like this.
“He asked about you, of course,” Hermione said suddenly, looking at him crossly. “He wanted to make sure you were here because he didn’t see you get on the train and he was worried.”
