Danny couldn't seem to catch a break! No matter where he went, ghost problems always seemed to follow him. Even when he traveled 800 miles away from Amity to Gotham. And what was up with that wacky ghost bat? ...Maybe it could be his new friend?
Meanwhile, when Bruce Wayne was unexpectedly pickpocketed (and how did that happen?), he found himself turned into a giant, ghostly bat. Struggling to control his new form and abilities made retrieving his stolen possession (the root of the problem) incredibly difficult.
Yet as he followed the enterprising thieves out of Gotham City, his adoption senses started tingling. Did one of the troubled teens need somewhere safe to stay?

Summary
All Chisaki Kai wanted was to never have to watch someone die in front of him again. If that meant he had to use his quirk illegally then so be it. He would go out every night to make sure that no one died while he watched unless that was what he wanted.
It did mean that he drew attention that he hadn't wanted, and maybe he grew attached to more people than he intended. Even that could have been salvageable if he hadn't decided to hold a grudge against the Emperor of the Underworld himself, who was rumoured to have power over half of Japan and was perhaps hundreds of years old.

The morning of his fourth birthday Izuku woke up to a pop-up from his quirk telling him he had a quest to let no one know he had a quirk at all. When he failed the quest he reset back to when it was first given...but that wasn't his only quest.
Some of the quests he was given might have seemed strangely useless at the time (why did Eraserhead need a cat?) but always turned out to be useful later on. (If only his quirk would stop trying to mess with his social life!)
