When Gon was younger he spent a lot of time in bed sick. He could barely move and his body was so weak from the fever taking over his body. As he lay there trapped in his bed he would see a weird woman staring at him. She had no form, she was more a shadow with eyes that were a lovely shade of green and a large crook grin that would been creepy if it wasn’t radiating kindness. And love.

Summary
Caitlyn’s hands were rough, her body pressing into Vi’s like she needed to erase the memory of someone else looking at her partner. Their shirts came off, Vi pulled Caitlyn down with her, arms around her.
Then Caitlyn pulled back just slightly, her forehead resting against Vi’s, breath still shallow. Torn between their warmth and the need to make sense of today’s chaos, she couldn’t shut off, and then the thought slipped out.
“There’s something off about this case,” Caitlyn murmured. “The ledgers don’t line up —”
Vi blinked, startled at the sudden transition. “Wait, what?”
OR, a partner who won’t stop working, a pirate who won’t stop flirting — Caitlyn and Vi discover that holding their relationship together might be the hardest case yet.

"Go, go, go!" she called, barely waiting for the others to step through before sprinting down the platform. The train whistle blew a sharp warning, and doors were already slamming shut.
They all but threw themselves onboard. Powder nearly tripped, and Mylo yanked her forward, the force of it sending them both stumbling into the nearest corridor. A second later, the train jolted forward, and the platform disappeared from view.
Panting, Vi ran a hand through her hair. "Every. Damn. Year."
Powder grinned. "Yeah, but we always make it, don’t we?"
Mylo dusted himself off. "Told you we had time."
Vi let out a grunt. "Next time, you can carry your own trunk. Now let's see if we’re lucky enough to find somewhere to sit."
“I’m sure your girlfriend saved you a seat.” Mylo teased, with an impish smile on his face.
“She’s not my- ugh!”
Powder cackled.

We follow Vi and her friends through her last few years at hogwarts. Insert fun and pranks with a mix of hard work. Nothing dangerous going on right? Its not like a war is brewing or anything...

Caitlyn is tired of fake friendships and bad company, so she desperately tries to make friends with the new students who are part of the new program that invites children from Zaun to study at the Academy.
Vi is the only one who doesn't ignore her, but she does her best to stay away from Caitlyn due to the prejudiced image she has of rich kids and pilties like her.
Only time and patience will determine the fate of this friendly bond; Caitlyn is determined to make it work.
