Summary
They saw new sides of each other, living together. Martin got to see pre-coffee Jon – a monster made of bedhead and irritability – and Jon, while helping Martin convert the couch-bed back into a couch, saw Martin genuinely angry for the first time. (It was odd to think that there was a level of unhappiness Jon hadn’t seen from him, given their recent experience of nearly being eaten by worms together, but that rusted goddamn bedframe was enough to bring it out in him.) As Martin broke out some of the more creative curses in his repertoire, Jon gave up on the bed to simply watch in awe.
They learned other things about each other as well. Jon was a surprisingly courteous houseguest (courteous to a fault, if anything - he must have said the sentence “Whatever you want is fine” about 15 times as they were figuring out dinner plans, which was nice and all but not helpful, Jon!) and a surprisingly heavy sleeper. He liked to wear socks around the house, and he never remembered to refill the brita, and he sang in the shower, surprisingly well.
After Leitner's death, Jon flees to Martin's apartment. Some things change, many stay the same.

Summary

Meanwhile, Martin desperately wants to ask Jon on a date as well, but he isn’t quite sure what to make of all the mixed signals Jon sends his way. And then there’s Jon’s flatmate Tim, who accidentally finds himself in the middle of all this after meeting Martin on a night out…
In the end, it might just take a supernatural encounter and a desperate rescue mission to sort out all this mess.

Goal of observation is to determine severity of subject’s alleged lies and identify causes of subject’s recent abnormal behavior. Subject has demonstrated increased preoccupation with observer’s mental and physical well-being e.g. subject’s placement of jar of Prentiss’ ashes in observer’s office, subject’s repeated insistence on the observer “getting some rest”, and subject’s hovering in office doorway Friday morning until observer was able to present empty mug as evidence of having drunk all his tea. Additional cause for suspicion originates from subject’s references to his own deceitful activities found in letter addressed to subject’s mother.Not sure whom he can trust, Jon keeps a close eye on Martin. A very close eye.

It helps to give clarity to the mind and reorient the thoughts. Do me a favour and drink some, will you?”
Cody rubs at his eye. Kriff, he could use a nap. “Yessir,” he replies dutifully, “is that an order, too?”
Obi-Wan laughs, the sound melodic and clear. Screw the tea, Cody could reorient his thoughts with just that sound.
OR
Cody's already been up for almost a full standard day. It's all downhill from here.

“Well, how do you like it?”
He sets the cup down, and turns to Kenobi. The look on his face is vaguely hopeful, but mostly one of genuine curiosity.
Cody has no doubt in his mind that if he tells Kenobi he doesn’t like it, the other man won’t take any offense. It is, after all, just a drink.
But Cody thinks of how passionate Kenobi was when discussing the tea, how entirely happy he seemed. A true moment of joy that Cody doesn’t know if he’s ever really seen from his General.
It’s such thoughts, swirling in the back of his mind, that compel him to do something completely unnecessary and entirely stupid. They compel him to lie.
Or: Cody and Obi-Wan often share a cup of tea while they work. The fact that Cody hates tea is inconsequential.

Cody was... mixed about his Jedi General. On the one hand Obi-Wan Kenobi was very kind to the clones, calling them by their names and treating them as equals, but on the other hand, his behaviour left a lot to be desired.
He ignored them so much that Cody had stopped thinking too much about it, not even a polite "General?" would stop him when he walked right in front of him. He was frustrated, but at least he listened carefully to the advice and opinions during the debriefings...
