Summary
“Uncle Roy and Keeley split up.”
Jamie choked on the melting blue popsicle he’d been splendidly enjoying. Phoebe’s blunt declarations never failed to make the adults around her sputter and stall and stare. He coughed out incoherent words that amounted to what he hoped sounded like acknowledgement.

Jamie and Phoebe have a chat in the park

Summary
Peter could feel the negotiation spinning out of control, he tried to grasp at it with slick fingers.
"We won't let that happ-"
"Shut it!" Danny hissed, right next to his ear. "We can't trust him, we can't-"
"Can I offer you guys a third option?"
Peter couldn't believe what he was hearing, he opened his eyes to stare across at his partner who looked as calm as could be. He'd told Neal to let him handle things, what in the hell was he thinking?
"What?" Danny was so shocked at the outburst that he lost interest in pressing the gun against Peter's head.
Neal leaned back against the worktop in a way that suggested it was his idea to be on the floor in the first place, every part of him oozing confidence.
"You could run." Neal offered like it was the simplest solution in the world, to him, it probably was. "Take some cash, get some fake passports and just go. No-one would find you."
Or Peter and Neal end up in a little bit of trouble when investigating their latest case involving counterfeit car parts, Neal has an idea to get the pair out of it but Peter isn't going to like it.

Summary
Buck can’t look away. It's a sick joke, how unnatural, how horrible the sight is, but he can’t bring himself to look away. He thinks he pushes Harry out of the way, needing a better view. Shoves Ravi aside to stand in the front row. A barricade spot for death.
Buck almost laughs at the sight. He feels it bubbling up his throat, threatening to explode out of him. He wants to laugh in some weird, delirious relief because that can’t be Eddie. Not his Eddie. This is… whoever this is, is not Eddie. Eddie is full of life. Eddie is warmth and sunlight and tanned skin. Eddie is flushed cheeks, a small blush working its way across his face at any compliment. Eddie is sparkling, shining eyes, crinkling around the corners, watching Buck inevitably make a fool of himself.
That is Eddie.
Or, what if the elevator opened and Eddie didn't wake up? Sort of 9x18 fix it (depends on what you define as fixing) for Buck’s reaction and the aftermath.

Summary
"Doc," Jamie says, "what does it mean when someone calls you someone else’s name?"
"Well, our brains like to put the people in our lives with a similar role in a box, and sometimes our brains just end up pulling the wrong name out of the box," the doc replies, "Did your coach call you by one of your teammates’ names?"
"Uh, no."

Summary
“It’s gonna rain soon,” Peter said, not looking at Tony, who had landed by his side.
Silence met his words, so Peter contented himself with angling his head skyward. Maybe if he stayed still for long enough he’d get washed away.
“Kid, I need you to be okay,” his mentor finally spoke, sounding ragged.
Peter resisted the knee jerk urge to tell the man that he never would be, that it wasn’t an option anymore- it felt unkind.
Instead, he simply gave a soft smile as the first rain drop hit his cheek.
Or
Living a normal enough (dare he say happy) life for a twenty-year-old part-time college student, part-time vigilante, Peter feels settled for the first time in a long time.
Which is, of course, when everything conspires to go wrong all at once.
But the question is, will he tell Tony the truth that even he can hardly stomach, or will he let his ever-spiralling series of deceptions swallow him whole?
The slow unravelling of Peter Parker, piece by piece.
