"'Uh…' Akira starts. 'These vines won’t let me help you.'
'That’s fine,' Akechi says, seemingly unperturbed. 'I can get out of this myself, I assure you.'
So Akira watches. He watches for several moments as Akechi tries to find a way out of the vines. He tugs, wriggles and pulls—no dice. The vines are still perfectly wrapped around him like a snake coiling its prey. It almost seems that the more he struggles, the worse they tighten.
Akira doesn’t know how to broach the topic, so he tries eloquently, 'Do you think you’re, uh, stuck stuck?'
'Use that glorious intellect of yours, Joker,' Akechi hisses. 'What do you think it looks like?'
After mishandling the research flora in Maruki's Palace, Akechi finds himself trapped in an array of vines. The only way to get out is with Akira's aide, but being trapped drudges up feelings Akechi never wanted to bring to the surface...

Goro's horse, Loki, dies just before the big dressage competition that he was determined to win. So, like any sane horse boy, he hires a necromancer to revive his dead horse and it... goes horribly wrong. At least the necromancer is cute.

Akira gave him another side glance - he expected some sort of guilt for having judged him, some sort of acknowledgement that he had been right all along, but instead, Akira just looked unbelievably smug, as he asked, without taking his eyes off Goro,
“The cool one, huh?”
When Goro hears that his daughter is part of a play based on the Phantom Thief Documentary, he becomes very invested. The longer she plays the role of Goro Akechi, the more she's beginning to understand why.

“Oh… Oh really?” Akira tries not to laugh, suddenly feeling manic. “What do you call this then?” He gestures exaggeratedly to the cell, as he steps forward, up to the bars. “If not that?”
The brunet tightens his grip on his crossed arms, wrinkling the sleeves of his blazer. “You can consider this a detention of sorts. The inevitable consequence of your reckless transgressions, acting as the leader of your criminal vigilante group.”
Akira grips the iron bars separating the two of them. “You’re full of shit.”
Gloved hand over his heart, Akechi raises both eyebrows in feigned offense. “Is that any way to speak to the man who feeds you now?”

Or at least it would, if the filming of this trainwreck hadn't been the biggest shitshow Goro had ever been forced to participate in.

Akechi’s plan is going swimmingly—he’s just put a bullet in Akira’s head, though now he has a persistent stomach bug.
However, when he’s transferred to Shujin out of the blue, the last thing he expects is for a bleeding Akira to knock on his apartment door, looking very unlike himself. ☕️🥞
