Summary
The little village of Goa, where tradition had met with modernity, still celebrated the biyearly race where omegas could get a good fuckbuddy or a potential partner. Every available omega had to participate and most of his friends had already found a partner and were either expecting a pup or traveling with their respective alpha or beta; hell, even omega unions came out of it, that were rare but not impossible. And yet, not a single time had Law found someone, every race night he had to go back to his home alone, humiliated; his wolf crying, rejected and cold. After the second year he didn’t want to participate anymore but it was mandatory for young and single omegas, forcing him to repeat everything all over again; he was done, but at least he finally was 28 which meant that the October one was his last, he was turning 29 right after and he would be free to crawl under his blankets and pretend that none of that affected him.
Or
Law has been rejected so many times he already accepted he’s gonna die alone. Zoro has a crush but knows he’s never been the first option.

Summary
Indeed, he never had. That simple platinum band sat securely on Law's left ring finger, strikingly prominent against his long, pale hands. Whenever someone uninformed-or pretending to be-ventured to ask about his relationship status, Law would pause whatever he was doing, whether writing medical records or scrubbing in, touch the ring lightly with fingertips clad in sterile gloves or still glistening with water droplets, then lift those calm, rippleless golden eyes. A faint, almost polite curve would grace his lips: "I'm married."
If the other person dared to press, "Then your partner is..." Law's smile would deepen just slightly, a flicker of something almost tender yet utterly helpless would flash through those golden eyes, and he'd say:
"An idiot."

Summary
(“Do you not know who it is?”)
Natasha’s words rang through his head. Looking at the flower petals in his hand, yellow with blue seeds inside them, it wouldn’t be too hard to guess what they were supposed to represent. Still, he’d only just fallen victim to this disease, there was no reason to rush and cure himself of it just yet, now was there?
Especially if rejection was guaranteed, and embarrassment sure to follow.
“Nothing I can do about it.” He crushed the petals in his hands, throwing them into the nearest bin before continuing with his day.
Annoyed.
