Huh. Kidnapped. That’s new. If he was less emotionally dead from finals and sleep deprivation, he’d probably have a stronger and much more appropriate reaction to that.
At least he's got Captain America and the Winter Soldier to keep him company.

Summary
He corrals them out of sight and into a cab, by repeating the murmured It’s fine we are OK like a mantra and doesn’t let go of Bruce’s hand as they walk up towards the imposing shadow of Wayne Manor. He rarely takes this path by foot, especially nowadays, but tonight he couldn’t bear the thought of leaving Bruce to trudge on alone.
Jason and Bruce get cornered by a mugger one night, at an alley. Jason thinks they are fine, until Bruce collapses behind him, and they deal with the aftermath when they are both feeling more than a little raw.
Alternatively, Jason guards Bruce as fiercely as Bruce guards Jason.

Summary
You grow into the person who would’ve protected you as a child.
Alfred finds himself left with a little boy to care for. Not just any boy, but a Wayne, destined for greatness like his parents. He does his best to raise him, and it hurts his heart - really it does - but sometimes that means discipline.
Bruce knows he’s not good. Well aware that he deserved what Alfred gave him when he was a child. But now that he has children of his own, Bruce can’t fathom disciplining them like he was.That doesn’t mean Alfred was wrong to inflict those punishments on Bruce. Bruce deserved it. Just not his kids.
