“Literally no one here would be fine with drinking your spit,” Lucas gestures to everyone, requesting back up.
“I would rather still be in a coma than drink your spit,” Max says.
“I would rather die of dehydration than drink your spit,” Dustin declares.
“El kind of used to,” Mike points out.
“Yes, used to, and now I know what good kissing is,” El remarks. “I never want to come in contact with your spit again.”
“Well Will wouldn’t mind!” Mike blurts indignant with everyone ganging up on him. Will freezes, laughter dying and color creeping up his face.

After the events of the MAC-Z, Mike and Will are left alone at the Squawk, and Will knows it's time to tell Mike how he feels. Convinced Vecna will target Mike in retaliation for using his powers, Will finds the courage to overcome his own fears (and the fears Vecna's given him), hoping only that Mike will still want to remain friends after.
