When it came time to decide on a university both Priestly twins wanted to move to the west coast and become sunkissed California girls. Miranda stayed behind in New York but found that she was no longer as interested in running Runway. She'd felt that her reign was over and that she wanted to move on. Without the ties of friends or family in New York -- and with some encouragement from the girls -- she packed up and moved to California. It was in California that she met Jane Adler.

Miranda's mother invites Andy to spend Christmas with her and Miranda in England and Andrea can't help but agree.
Turns out, the only reason for said invitation is that the Priestly Matriarch lives under the assumption Andrea is Miranda's girlfriend. And Andy doesn't have the heart to correct that assumption. So, her and Miranda come to an agreement. What Andy hadn't considered, however, is the fact that this carefully forged plan between her and her boss might just shred her heart to pieces completely. -
