Summary
Allie Hayes is running late for Briar's biggest hockey game of the season.
Determined to watch whatever time she has left of Dean Di Laurentis playing, she rushes to get to the arena. But a last-minute favor for Hannah sends her to Malone's instead.
Meanwhile, Dean is trying very hard not to freak out.
His girlfriend isn't answering his calls. Her seat in the stands is still empty. And despite everyone blaming it on pre-game nerves, he can't shake the feeling that something isn't right.
This story is basically my excuse to put Dean through emotional torture and explore the "I was terrified of losing you" trope with my favourite Off Campus couple.
Expect protective Dean, lots of comfort, Briar friendship moments, some angst, lots and lots of fluff, and Dean Di Laurentis being absolutely down bad for Allie Hayes. The blurb is just an overall plot, there are many amazing extra scenes that are worthy to read. It gets better by each chapter. Please give it a try!
People who have read the books are more than welcome to join! And if you've only watched the TV show adaptation, you can absolutely read this too.

He ended his killing spree by blowing up the reactor before disappearing.
Five years later, Cloud Strife-presumed sole survivor of the incident-wakes up in hospital and learns of the tragedy, and discovers he's one of President Shinra's illegitimate children.
