It was blurry, but it was enough.
The photo was indisputable proof she was on the right track. That she was close. So damn close she could taste the scent of Enid’s irritating yet addicting strawberry scented shampoo in the air.
Wednesday can acknowledge that after three months, the chance of her missing wolf smelling anything other than the rough, earthy scent of the outdoors was nigh impossible. But the aroma has followed her throughout the unending weeks of tracking, becoming slowly more powerful as time goes on. A growing illusion and a sign she was gradually losing her mind.
Or: Wednesday finds Enid and she's very gay about it.

“Be quiet.” Wednesday said through gritted teeth and reached for the Snowglobe. When her hands touched it, she barely had time to really look at it, from a closer point of view, that her head was thrown back and her eyes got lost in the emptiness of a vision.

Summary
Wednesday had never had romantic feelings for another person. She didn’t know how to show it in a way that Enid was worthy of.
Enid believed in a great love.
Enid believed in fairytale romance, magical happy endings. She wanted to be swept off of her feet, she wanted her to be kissed and held and supported.
Wednesday could barely do one of those things.
The thought of it all was terrifying, because Enid deserved the grand fairytale that she wanted, and Wednesday wasn’t sure that she could give it.
And Wednesday herself, her whole being, felt like some sort of contradiction. She hated touch with a burning passion, but oh, how she missed Enid’s embrace. How she found herself wanting to be held, wanting to bury her face into Enid’s throat and to never move away. She craved the woman’s warmth, her scent, her soft hands, she had never wanted a person in the way that she wanted Enid, oh so very badly.
She decided that she could start small.
One day she would give Enid the magical romance she wanted, but for now she just needed to take it one step at a time.

Enid huffed, relaxing her grip on the doorknob and gesturing at her to go on. Her aching teeth and the small spasms starting in her hands couldn’t mean anything good, but she could give Wednesday a minute to explain herself. Even her implicit admission that there was something going on was enough to take the edge off, after a week of silence.
"The nature of their advice… unsettled me. They suggested offsetting the more macabre and morbid scenes I was unwilling to compromise on with something to cleanse the reader's palate." “That’s Wednesday Addams. Deadly. Terrifying. Do NOT touch her, unless you want to end up six feet under. She’s a seer, but she has like, 50 knives on her at any possible moment. I recommend a minimum of 10 to 20 feet distance at all times if you value personal safety.”
Jack swallows hard and takes a step back from the girl in black and white, even though she’s sitting very far away from him. Then, he frowns.
“I thought you said nobody should touch her.” he says, as a pink and yellow girl grabs Addams’ entire arm, and starts jumping up and down, shaking the shorter girl’s entire frame. Wednesday Addams looks slightly annoyed, but otherwise lets herself be manhandled by this blonde girl without complaint. Yoko gives Jack her widest grin yet.
“Oh, that’s Enid. Enid Sinclair. She’s allowed.”
