Shen Yuan transmigrated into minor Villian Shen Qingqiu and chooses to get close to his half demon guard (the protagonist) instead of causing drama in the harem. But the plot has found him regardless when Yue Qingyuan marries Qiu Hataing who knows more about Shen Qingqius past than he does. Misunderstanding arise when Shen Qingqius only quest is to help find Binghes true live, which is obviously Qiu Hataing! It's fine! Hell be alone forever after this but it's fine!! He just wants Binghe to be happy
Some nice angst here especially as we get flashbacks to Shen Jius memory. The misunderstanding trope goes hard on this one but we all know Shen Qingqiu is not going to have a problem with Binghe sweeping him off his feet hehe

Luo Binghe is soooo horny in this fic and he quickly claims SY as his own. The descriptions of his fantasy's, both his violent and sexual, are such good characterizations for a modern day Binghe
Mobei jun is my favorite in this fic. Very juicy characterization for him. I love that he had a specific type for chubby cheek nervous men and when he spots Shang Qinghua ooooh boy it's obsession at first sight!
Very fun setting all around. Really love what this author is doing. Love that just like in the original SVSSS SY is working with the terrible reputation of Shen Jiu.

Law is having a no good very terrible kind of life. He failed to escape after cora died and became Doffys in everyway. With the threat of losing the few good things in his life, he bears the brunt of being Doffys favorite. However, Cora isn't dead. And it's going to be harder and harder for Law to keep the people he loves safe.
Oh the angst is so heavy on this! The writing is beautiful and so so painful as law goes through every moment. Love the shifting perspectives as well, adds to the pain as people are forced to watch Law be tortured.
The pain of Cora feeling he failed to save Law, and Law feeling he failed to make good with Coras sacrifice HURH MY HEART

Shen Yuan and Shen Jiu have always been close and nearly identical in appearance. Shen Yuan knows that his brother would do just about anything to avoid Yue Qingyuan. He decides to pretend to be his brother when the king’s men capture him. He transmigrated at a young age, and knows to be wary of the too-friendly "Qi-ge".
When a stranger offers to take him away, Shen Yuan trusts his life to them despite knowing the nefarious characters that existed in a world based on 'Proud Immortal Demon Way'. Taking his chances lands him in the care of Luo Binghe and on a path he never expected.
