"'M not feeling good, Scar," Grian's words hitch breathlessly, his heart pounding in his ears, and admitting such a thing makes him feel like he's sinking.
"What?" Scar questions, the word peaking the speaker and hitting Grian's ears with an uncomfortable sharpness. "What do you mean? Gri, we're waiting on you–"
"I can't– I can't come," he sobs, lungs burning as he gasps shallowly, "I'm sorry- I'm so sorry."

Summary
Getting used to Hermitcraft had already been hard enough. Grian has only been part of the group for a couple months, but he was already infatuated with the chaos. Hell, he embraces it. It's been years (after the loss of his family, his old smp, his humanity), and he's eager to make new friends. Hermitcraft accepts him with open arms, and he fits right in - no surprise to anyone.
But then things get harder. Not pranks weird, either. (Weird in an inability to sleep, a constant aching in his back, a longing for anyone nearby all times of the day, and seriously, why does Grian keep stealing clothes?!)

(in situations of high stress, a hybrid may not present their traits if conditions are not safe to do so. Grian, twenty-odd years old, finds home in Hermitcraft. Hell breaks loose - just a little.)

As he sank down into the warm water, thanks to all the magma blocks, he let his head tilt back slightly. It was like a hot tub, but not as hot because the cold was still fighting to make the water freeze. So, it was a comfortable temperature. Just the way he liked it. He might've even dozed off a bit, because he blinked and then the sun was dipping below the horizon. He sat up in the water with a jolt, looking around. He saw somebody wave at him, then sighed out in relief.
Wait a minute.
He whipped his head over to see Fwhip just standing there, with Gem at his side. He blinked a few times, clearly startled, then he rubbed his eyes. He's definitely not seeing things.

Martyn's pranks have gotten awfully intricate and Jimmy finds himself hating them less and less and enjoying them more and more.
The point at which this becomes obvious to him is at the creation of Ted the "Create-a-Bear" --- a point in which Jimmy realizes he must stuff down his enjoyment of the stupid toy before any of his servermates find out. The risk is too high.Of course, things like this always come to light a lot sooner than planned.

Summary
Sometimes old habits die hard, and you can't quite get out of your own head long enough to look back at the damage you're doing to yourself. Grian is constantly sabotaging himself in favor of not wanting to feel weak; there's a part of him that won't let go of the idea that he's wrong for how his mind will cope with stress. Whether it be of his own doing or someone else's, he needs to learn to live with himself and carry the uncomfortable part of him until it is no longer such a discomfort. No matter how he learns to better allow himself to be exactly as he is, (either because of his overly patient friends, because of priceless advice, or because of his own need to stop dragging himself down), it's something he's put off too long.
Or, Grian has a bad relationship with his regression. It causes him a lot of mental pain, and his most recent slip is a result of trying to put it off too long. Maybe he learns he can live with it, as his friends and caregivers give him all the tools he needs to do so.

Summary
Grian has never been upfront about his little side. He learned to bottle it up inside and always take care of himself when he slipped.
But then he joins Hermitcraft and meets Scar - only to find out later on he's a little. Not only that, but people don't make fun of him for it? In fact, they even take care of him!
Desperate to cover up his deepest secret, he offers to take care of Scar for Cub. Only... he soon finds out: it's hard to stay little when around a little.

What starts as an accidental slip during a babysitting endeavor leads to a journey of learning to heal and to accept all parts of himself (little side included). Cleaning old wounds is harder than Grian would like to admit, but luckily for him, he has the entirety of Hermitcraft on his side. Summary
Jimmy, despite popular opinion, is pretty good at playing Grian's little death games (though he knows they're not truly Grian's, not anymore). After all, if you've played them as many times as he has, you're bound to be pretty good.
When he's invited to join Limited Life, he agrees, of course. It's not like he has much of a choice. He has to be there- the canary in the coal mine, there to give the miners a chance to escape.
He plays through the game, and then he plays again, and again and again. He can't seem to fulfill his purpose, and suddenly he's been stuck in the game for nearly two months. Can he escape on his own, or will he finally cave and ask for help?
