When Jason had seen the flash of bright light, had seen Dick fall to the ground like a ragdoll, his stomach had fallen onto the ground with him. He had stared at Dick, expecting him to jump up-- do fucking something. But he didn’t.
So he grabbed Dick and brought him to the fucking cave, because-- because-- he’s a fucking idiot. He’d been expecting a fight when he came back; expected Bruce to kick him out, punch him, shout at him, stick a tranquilizer in his neck to send him to Arkham--
Instead he’d grabbed Dick out of his arms and rushed to the med bay.
and-- Jason stayed, so he could figure out how to wake the kids up from-- whatever the fuck the Clock King did to them. Tim and Bruce eventually managed it, and Dick had seemed fine.
Except for the way he kept glancing at Jason, like he was a ghost.
Except for the way he explained what happened-- where he had been. 2015. April.
Except for the way he begged Bruce to let him go back, to save Jason, he-
He was fucking going to go to Ethiopia with Jason?

Summary
What is Hood doing here? They had a truce. They don’t bother Hood, Hood doesn’t bother them. Dick had been-- happy. With the terms. Happy that he didn’t have to worry about finding his surviving brother broken and bleeding on the ground again. Happy that he didn’t have to watch Hood spit in the face of everything Jason believed in, happy that he can pretend that Hood never appeared in the first place. That his little brother didn’t come back so horribly, horribly wrong.
Hood’s gun shines where it points at the Clock King’s face, and Dick does his best to hold back the urge to vomit.
Dick lets out a long, slow breath, “Hood–”
Hood flinches, “Night–”
Pain explodes in his back, and his world goes white.
He wakes up in the Titans tower.
Or
Dick accidentally gets sent back five years in the past, before Jason died. It's up to him to save his little brother, and maybe learn to see him in a different light.

something something bruce offhandedly mentions being autistic and it's like a record scratches as his kids turn to him with expressions varying from "how the fuck did i not know" to "why the fuck did you not tell me." there's the beginnings of an argument because, well, it would've made communication a lot EASIER if they knew.
Excerpt:
"They called you autistic to your- Bruce, did no one do anything??" Dick asked. He was very aware of the kind of bullying a newly-orphaned kid might receive, but it had never been anything like that."It was the 80s, they used the more outdated term. And they were right, so what was there to report?" Bruce shrugged.
