Apparently the instinct to adopt any kid that fits the black hair blue eye type and who’s in dire need of healthy parenting is active even when going to alternate realities. Tim is quickly having his mental stability plummeting when YJ Batman sees those terrible signs and the lack of support from any family structure and takes him back to the YJ universe. He has a few new sons to take care of and Tim has no idea how to handle people who want to be a supportive family for him. So he focuses on what he can grasp, helping Impulse with taking down the Light
