Summary
This is basically a slice-of-life of a Modern AU for when I need to project one of my quirks or an idea onto these idiots. I will not be consistent with the uploads nor will I put more efforts than necessary in the scenario, nor will I feel sorry about it (not for this fic at least).

Summary
Barely one week has passed since the illustrious Don Quixote accepted a room at the Michel Institute, and already she discovered this place to be riddled with corruption and injustices of all kinds: from the betting round that has developed between the supposed comrades, the cook being very nice yet accepting payments to give some of the comrades larger portions to the detriment of others, all the way to the owner’s son caring for even the worst of them yet never stepping in when they misbehave, it seems the only adults making an effort here are the jaded Jailor and the amnesiac Manager. And neither want to, or can, prevent Don Quixote from getting into a dragon-knight-prince relationship with Heathcliff, the infamous bully of the Institute, and Sinclair, another new blood, one of the youngest. However, when Don Quixote finds out about the arrival of a princess in the Institute, moreover that she is guarded by the terrible dragon himself, she rushes to her rescue… only to crash into all the walls on her way, both expected and unexpected.

Summary
People said a lot of things about her. That she was born on the coldest day on Earth because she had stolen the sun to make her hair with. That under the fire that makes her hair hide a complex mechanism making up her mind. That instead of going to her brother for protection she would aim for the eyes. Ishmael usually did her best to ignore these baseless rumors, but after… something in both her and Heathcliff’s lives disappears suddenly, leaving her brother on the brink of madness, like their mother had been for a long time now, it’s time for her to remember one of the rare opinions of herself she kept in mind.
“I do believe they are utterly mistaken! Thou art the most exquisite maiden I have ever had the pleasure to converse with! I prithee, when thou feelest prepared to flee this accursed realm, hie thee to La Mancha; I shall await thee there!”
