How the hell had Penelope ended up here? Her day had started off so nicely, so normally, and now here she was, standing in a purple lacey bra and a bright red tutu, hands on her hips, practically commanding Colin Bridgerton to kiss her while he stared at her, looking vaguely sick (for the sake of her self esteem, she wasn’t going to look into that one.)
She really didn’t know why Colin was being so weird about it, it was only a kiss. Not just a kiss, a kiss brought about by one of the stupidest drinking games known to man, it wasn’t like she was expecting it to mean anything to him, a fact that she’d already told him multiple times. She thought that that would make it easier for him, but no, he was still practically frozen.
“Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!” Everyone else chanted through the wall. Even Alfred was joining in.
“I… Pen, I…” Colin trailed off. She looked at him expectantly, waiting for the words that apparently wouldn’t come.
Jesus, how long had they even been here at this point? This was getting a bit ridiculous.
“For God’s sake, Colin Bridgerton, are you going to kiss me or not?”Polin's first kiss but make it Nick and Jess's first kiss.
