Its 1943 and Heyrick Park has been requisitioned. Those stationed there are doing their duty to keep the people of Sanditon and the surrounding area supplied with what they need to 'keep calm and carry on', whilst supporting the US Navy base just up the coast. Yet there is more to this than managing supplies to the war effort - can Colbourne and his team use their signals intelligence skills to thwart the enemy? And what if that enemy is closer to home than anyone thinks? Can love find a way amidst the fears and strains of wartime England?
A 1940's WW2 Variation, which takes our characters on a different, but also familiar, journey of self-discovery and romance.

It is 1936.
Charlotte Colbourne is the reticent and reclused owner of Heyrick Park, running the estate on her own since the disappearance of her husband two years past.
Her niece, Augusta comes to her revealing she is being blackmailed. The blackmailer has made a critical error. They have left a letter under Augusta's door at Heyrick. A door that changed the night Alexander left them.
Charlotte invites everyone who has been a guest in her home in the last two years to a shooting party. She'll unmask the blackmailer and save Augusta.
