Summary
Mark has always been a very unique kid, or so she assumed- given she didn’t have much of a point of reference. His alien origins were no secret to a close family friend like Wren (Its hard to ask a 10 year old to hide his super powers) so the general detachment from the human race was never that big of a surprise, in fact it was often a topic to bond over- having such a freakishly high IQ meant it was often difficult to bond with kids her age, so of course it was a given when years down the line the two would end up together.
Things however have been strange as of late- Mark’s been bailing on dates more often, acting more brooding than usual… its not hero work she’s sure, having access to the GDA data base means she’s always up to date with Invincible’s happenings, So when the Guardians of the globe die out of the blue she becomes sure something is up- still it frustrates her to no end she cant quite figure out what.Or… Smartest person on earth can’t figure out what to do with her world conquering boyfriend and figures the answer is to be toxic to each other.

“I said do it, Archer.”
And then the world slowed down. He saw Dick’s eyes widen, heard the twang of Oliver’s bow, felt Diana’s hands tighten around his neck. A wave of relief coursed through him. It was all going to be okay. Jason hadn’t feared death in a long time, if anything, it felt like going home.
He didn’t have to deal with Dick, or Bruce’s death, or Tim’s, or any of it. The darkness was coming and Jason was all too ready to be sucked into it.
Which was what should have happened. But instead . . .
Dick’s hands moved at inhuman speed. He grabbed the front of Jason’s shirt and yanked. Jason felt the arrow nick his arm before it flew past and shattered itself against the Amazon warrior’s chest.

Summary
Tim had never infiltrated a criminal organization before.
At least not… physically, you know.
Infiltrating systems had been part of Tim’s life full-time in recent years, but he wasn’t stupid enough to think this wouldn’t be different from that. Hacking into networks, bypassing firewalls, stealing data… those were all things he could do from the safety of his room, his fingers flying across a keyboard while sipping on lukewarm coffee.
But this?

Things might get more complicated when both sides get attached, and Tim finds himself starting to love this sick, distorted family and realizing they could love him back.
