'Towa Town's residents knew the woman whose cottage sat on the edge of a cliff as Touko Fukawa, a reclusive author of romance stories. Most knew she lived there with her family, comprising of a tall, blond man and a cherub-faced baby boy. Fewer were aware of her frequent visits to the nearby beach, where she collected driftwood, seaweed and whatever else the sea washed up.
None of them, as far as Touko could tell, had any idea that she was also a witch. A powerful one at that.'
Elusive sequel one shot. If Touko had a gold coin for every time a mermaid had spied on her from the sea, she'd have had two gold coins. Which wasn't a lot, but it was weird that it happened twice.
