Summary
Fresh out of school and on summer break leading up to his last year of high school, Itoshi Rin is set to spend these next three and a half months of his break shutting out the entire world, and doing what he does best: oil painting.
But Sae, one last time, gives a shake of his head. “You’re going to the Isagi household.”
"I'm going to what?"Out go his initial plans to oil paint all summer and with Sae's force, Rin happens to take up a gardening job at the friendly Isagi household. The son, however, is a total mystery. As long as Rin does his job and doesn't get close with him, then it should be fine, right?
He never expected that upon meeting Isagi, feelings begin to swell up like a festering, raw wound. Unfortunately, whether Rin likes it or not, things start to happen between them.

Ego recites the following. "Diamonds in the rough. The time has come for the fourth stage of Blue Lock. The Partner-Up Switch Stage." Nobody knows what he means until he explains it further. "This next stage will require two partners--however, I will be the one to choose who you get partnered up with. This next stage will force you and your partner to form a workable, battle-field relationship as you'll room up with this person, and switch Neo-Egoist League Teams with." Isagi's eyes go wide, names popping up on the screen who are partnered together.
However, he notices after a brief period, his name is not up there.
He waits and finds out the news he's partnered up with Rin Itoshi.
After what happened against their Paris X Gen versus Bastard Munchen match, it's going to be chaos.
(Summary: Isagi and Rin are paired up to switch Neo-Egoist League Teams, and they have to get over their hardships to work together. Some things lead to another and they find they don't mind each other's company as much as they thought they did.)
