He hadn’t believed the letter at first. Finding it in his mail at the beginning of April, he thought it had to be some cruel joke. After all, how could another version of him from the future contact him? So he didn’t pay much attention, at least not until Doppo came home one evening with a bloody nose after running into some too drunk men on his way home, and his mind instantly flashed to the single line he read about that in the letter a week prior.
